
The Baseballs is a German Rock\\\'n\\\'Roll band founded in Berlin in 2007. They became popular with rock\\\'n\\\'roll versions in the style of the 60s of modern hits such as Umbrella by Rihanna and Hot\\\'n Cold by Katy Perry. The band members are only credited by their first names. Their version of Umbrella was a hit in Germany, Finland, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden and got into the charts in all five countries.
Their debut album, Strike!, was released in May 2009 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, in October 2009 in Finland and in December 2009 in Sweden and in February in Norway. It reached #15 in Austria, #6 in Germany, #2 in the Swiss, #1 in Finland, #1 in Sweden and #8 in the Norwegian album charts.
