\"I Hate Everything About You\" is the debut single of the alternative metal Canadian rock band Three Days Grace, from their debut album Three Days Grace.
The version of \"I Hate Everything About You\" found here is neither the version off of Three Days Grace\'s self-titled album or the version off of Rolling Stone Original (EP). It is exclusive to this particular record.
The song is in the album for EA Sports video game NASCAR Thunder 2004. It is also on the music video game Karaoke Revolution Volume 2.
The music video shows a teenage boy who finds out that his girlfriend is cheating on him, another teenage boy who has a drunk abusive father, and a girl who had close relations with her boyfriend and feels used. The boy whose father is an alcoholic is shown smashing bottles of alcoholic drinks, the teenage boy who found out his girlfriend was cheating smashed photographs of himself and her, and the girl is shown to tell her boyfriend directly \"I hate everything about you\" in time with the line. Each of these represents a love-hate relationship where each person goes through something that makes them hate the other, but wonder why they still care about that person. The video is the only one to feature Three Days Grace with only three members, as Barry Stock joined the band shortly after filming.
