Ennio Morrikone was born on November, 10th, 1928 in a family of professional jazz trumpeter Mario Morrikone and housewife Libery Ridolfi, it was the senior from 5 children. When Ennio was executed 9 years, it has arrived in conservatory of Sacred Setsilii in Rome where has studied in total 11 years, having received 3 diplomas: on a pipe class in 1946, on a class of an orchestra (fanfares) in 1952 and on a composition class in 1953.

When Ennio was executed 16 years, it has taken a place of the second pipe in ensemble of Alberto Flamini in which his father before played. Together with ensemble of Ennio earned additionally, playing night clubs and hotels of Rome. And one year later Morrikone was arranged in theater where has worked 1 year the musician, and then 3 years the composer. In 1950 it has started to arrange songs of popular composers for radio. For radio and concerts he was engaged in processing of music till 1960, and in 1960 Morrikone has started to arrange music for teleshow. Hide review
