Have organized a command in 2004 three participants of group "Creed" after from them the vocalist has left. Having decided that they go on a correct way, musicians have begun search of the new vocalist which became Majlz Kennedy, the ex-participant «Mayfield Four».

"After Creed have achieved certain successes as group, I needed to be engaged in an embodiment and own creative ambitions, - Mark Tremonti tells. - First of all I wanted to return to the rock'n'roll roots. So, having used holiday Creed, we with Scott Filipsom have started to rehearse and have understood that at us is much in common in we want to play what music".

The release of debut album Alter Bridge "One Day Remains" has taken place on August, 10th, 2004. For recording of the album Blackbird producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette has been employed. Record has been begun in Nashville, in February, 2007. Guys have signed the contract with Universal Republic Records. New album Blackbird left in 2007, on October, 9th it has started to be on sale in USA.The third under the account a plate «Alter Bridge III» (AB III) left on October, 11th, 2010.
