1987, Paolo Nutini heads the list sensual, but simultaneously resolute singers and composers of new generation. The success to it was brought by videoclip Jenny Dont Be Hasty and a remembered hymn to curative properties of footwear New Shoes.
Despite the Italian name, the family of Nutini lives in Scotland here already four generations, having emigrated from Italy during the First World War. Great-grandfather Paolo has opened a cheap fish little shop in Paisley which his parents now own. To music education Paolo has put the beginning its grandfather who has acquainted him with the Scottish national songs and with a wide range of other styles.
It was the big fan of music: loved a boogie-woogie, adored an opera, and it it most of all encouraged employment Paolo with singing. He always wanted, that someone in a family has made music sense of the life. «It, unfortunately, already isn't present to see it, but I only do that he wanted, and I do it in its honor» - Paolo speaks.
The father and aunts with their collections of plates subjected Paolo to listening of stars classical R&B, such as the Drifters and Ray Charles while its own musical researches have led to its works of such troubadours as John Martin and Ven Morrison. Íóòèíè for the first time has started to sing on public in school chorus and though the chosen songs in chorus hardly probable were among its favourite, one teacher has quickly defined its tremendous talent.
